Fitne Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy explains how Fitne collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the Fitne mobile app and fitne.ge website.

1. Data we process

We may process account and contact details, fitness profile data, health-related preferences you choose to provide, workout and nutrition activity, uploaded photos, location data when enabled, purchase and subscription records, device data, push tokens, diagnostics, and security logs. With your permission, Fitne reads steps, distance, active calories, sleep, weight, and heart rate from Apple Health. If you enable workout sync, Fitne writes only workouts completed in the app. On Android, with your permission, Fitne reads steps and active calories from Health Connect. Apple Health and Health Connect data is never used for advertising or sold. If you pay by card through Flitt, the card details you enter in the Flitt card form are sent directly from the app to Flitt; Fitne servers do not receive or store full card details.

2. Sources of data

Data comes from you, your device, permitted system services such as Apple Health, Health Connect and location services, payment providers such as Apple, Google, and Flitt, and essential infrastructure services such as Firebase Crashlytics.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We use data to create and protect your account, personalize workout and nutrition plans, show daily tasks and progress, analyze food or gym-machine photos, create an optional AI visualization from a progress photo you choose, confirm purchases and subscription access, send service messages, provide support, detect fraud or misuse, and meet legal and accounting duties.

4. AI and personalization

Fitne uses rules-based systems and AI services for plans, chat replies, scans, and recommendations. In the current Fitne app, your data is sent to an external AI provider only after you give separate permission for that feature: AI coach and nutrition (OpenAI; coach food tools may also send food descriptions and fitness/nutrition search parameters to YMove), AI photo analysis of a food or gym-machine photo you select (OpenAI or Anthropic, depending on which provider is available), and body-photo visualization of a progress photo you select (OpenAI). Sharing with YMove has its own permission. The permission screen lists the data each feature sends; photos or videos are sent only through a feature that offers them and that you allow. You can decline and keep using other features, and you can revoke future sharing in Settings → AI data sharing. Revoking does not recall data that was already sent. Older app versions released before this permission screen may send the same kinds of data to these providers when you use the corresponding feature. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not medical diagnosis or medical advice.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary with hosting, security, payment, app-store, analytics, maps, messaging, AI (see section 4), media-processing, and legal-service providers, or public authorities when required by law.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Georgia. In those cases we use contractual, confidentiality, and security safeguards and share only the data needed for the service.

7. Analytics and cookies

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are loaded on the public website only after your analytics consent. You can change or withdraw that choice from the analytics settings link in the site footer.

Meta ads measurement. On the website the Meta Pixel loads only after your consent and only on pages whose address contains no health, workout, trainer or programme data. The current Fitne mobile app does not send Meta measurement events: the Meta SDK is included, but its event logging, automatic events and advertising-identifier collection are switched off, and the app does not ask for tracking permission. We will update this policy and ask for your permission before enabling app measurement. Older versions of the previous app may still use the Meta SDK (App Events) to measure installs and opens and send only standard events - completed registration, checkout started and a verified Fitne Pro purchase (amount and currency) - and record App Store and Google Play subscription purchases automatically (product, amount and currency). The SDK or Pixel also collects technical data automatically (device and browser type, a pseudonymous Meta identifier, IP address). Fitne also keeps its own first-party record of these standard conversion events for analytics; our servers do not send them to Meta (the Meta Conversions API is currently switched off). We never send Meta your name, email, phone number or any health, workout, nutrition, weight or progress data, and Advanced Matching is off. We do not request the advertising identifier (IDFA) on iPhone, and the advertising-ID permission is disabled on Android. You can withdraw website consent via the “Analytics settings” link, after which the Meta Pixel no longer loads. Meta's own privacy policy applies to Meta's processing.

8. Retention

Account and fitness-profile data is kept while your account is active. After deletion we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable time, except records that must be kept for financial, legal, security, or dispute reasons.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, server-side authorization, monitoring, and other reasonable technical and organizational measures. No internet service can be guaranteed absolutely secure.

10. Your rights

Within the limits of applicable Georgian law, you may request access, a copy, correction, update, restriction, deletion, blocking, portability, withdrawal of consent, or objection to processing. You may also contact the Georgian Personal Data Protection Service or a court.

11. Device permissions

You control camera, photo, location, motion, Apple Health and Health Connect access from your device settings. If permission is removed, related features may be limited.

12. Children

Fitne is intended for users aged 16 and older. If we learn that data from a person under 16 was collected without proper consent, we will take reasonable deletion steps.

13. Contact and changes

We may update this policy and will notify users of material changes in the app or on the website. For privacy requests, use Fitne support in the app or email support@fitne.ge.

Choice of analytics

With your consent we use web analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure how well our ads work, for example sign-ups and Fitne Pro purchases. We never share health, workout, nutrition, account (name, email, phone), precise location or search data with Meta.
